Guest PuijkeN Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Hi all, I have a Omnia with the M203fix1 rom installed, and everything seems to work perfectly. Only thing I would like to know is if it's possible to use the upper right hardware button to turn the screen when pressed. I know I can change this button functions in Settings but I don't see an option to turn the screen, I know I had this with SPB Mobile Shell but I don't want to install this program now, because of the new rom. Anyone knows how I can fix this? B)
Guest Barthlon Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 happen to just stumble on this question and i see it's unanswered, so i'll give it a go B) i assume you're talking about the hardbutton that is normally assigned to the samsung menu right? as you said you can change this hardware button in settings and for me the option to rotate (that's how it's called in there "") is available. i'm on dthj9 right now, but i can't imagine this has been changed in roms overtime and you just need to give that menu a closer look B) short press i have bound to file explorer, long press i have bound to rotate (auto rotate is annoying B))

Guest PuijkeN Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 You probably have SPB Mobile Shell installed, it has that option. I have the M2D03 rom with Manilla2D and don't have that installed, so I can't select that from the dropdownmenu. I need a program or some sort of script or something I can assign to that specific hardwarebutton. B) Auto-rotate is annoying indeed but no rotation is even worde B)

Guest us1111 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 You can also use wktask to rotate the screen with a gesture.. I've set mine to rotate when i sweep across the top of the screen. With the swirl animation, this looks stunning.. http://soft.photoracer.net/docs/wktask_en.html

Hi Guys As far as i know from my phone. it works like this. 1. i have M2D03fix and everything is working perfect. Great work PaSSoa! 2. i haven't install nothing on this rom, no spb etc. nothing! 3. I didn't want the motor sensor to work as it drives me crazy. so i got into settings -> personal -> buttons and i assigned the upper right hardware button to rotate the screen by a short press. just choose from the option bellow that's all! 4. As i remember - i looked for this option a lot in the original Samsung rom but it wasn't there. this option added by Manilla. Hope i gave some help to you guys. Good luck!
