HTC X-Button on omnia

is there any way to run HTC X-Button on omnia? i have try but it is not working.

i have manilla 2d installed

or maybe there is some other soft working in the same way. i have try many of progs but noone close the apps.

I use magic button which is freeware and is easy to find. It works well and you can configure ti to do just the way you want it.

yes its working but after closing program it switch me to manilla 2d home screen.

WkTASK version 1.2.0.0 is brilliant as you can also add any programs to the launcher that you might want quick access to along with setting commands such as rotate the screen, reboot, I have also linked it to switch on the camera led if I need quick access to a torch.

I'm not a forum officer but I guess it wouldn't be a problem as other threads/topics are full of HTC software (like Manila2D, for ex.)?

But if it's kind of warez, I wouldn't suggest posting it.

why, you can change the buttons skins in preferences, you can downlaod some from page or make ones. you can also hide some programs if you dont want to see them on bar.

Hmm as it doesnt work with M2D homescreen, I uninstalled it from my phone. However, seems like there's an empty space in place of the xbutton on the homescreen. How can I get rid of that empty space?

the is no visable button but it is there, check olso you can set different behavion of this button on home screen.

First flash TouchFlo 2D version ROm (I recommend V10 by Pdaviet)

U know M2D has htc x-button.

then close M2D on Today from setting.

Now u can use HTC button w/o M2D (Actually it works separately w/o using M2D.exe)

this rom give us 85-90Mb free in device. So u can go for other interface if u want.

Second, install Task facade 3.8.5

if u set up setting well. it works flawlessly and best task switcher.

I loved S2U2 feature but its eye candy and quite annoying sometimes with lots of conflict issues.

Now I use Task Facade as task switcher and lock (it doesn't have lock function but

u can set it to pop up after wake-up. It really help u not to push wrong button while u carrying ur phone.

I tried WAD2, SPB shell, WA, winterface,tman, other task manger programs and lots of other UIs that i can get. But I didn't like it.

I even tried to make my Omnia similar to Iphone.. but I coudn't be satisfied..

But now I love my Omnia more thean ever with M2D rom which fully working as like HTC (very few feature u can ignore)

+Task Facade+Iris Browser.

I lost my stylus last week, but i can use my omnia with only my fingers now :rolleyes:

i am using quick menu which replaces start menu, it can close apps instantly without loading up any screen or program just like htc x button and also acts as an extended start menu allowing u to access all programs and settings

i am using taril's latest ROM and i installed HTC x on it. its working fine. the icon is displayed on the upper bar. it just requires a soft reset.

Use Qbus QB05/QB05M Roms. HTC X-button is integrated both of them and works perfectly.

You can have Manila lite QB05M or you can use the clean QB05 if you don't want M2D at all or if you want to install the full Manila.
