Search Secany's rom thread and the most troung free rom to date that is avaiable from there is DXHJ1. You donl;t need to change any settings. Simply run the updater on an XP machine after installing samasung modem driver. Good luck.

Guest spanomnia Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Everytime i try to flash the rom i get a Wrong Version Error. The Samsung site has no option for Spain in its drop down menu for the latest update So i cant get it that way. My rom is^PDA: XJHH1/SPHH1 Phone i900BUHG5 I´m on Spanish Vodaphone. I´d love an english OS. not bothered about any of the Vodafone stuff that comes preloaded. Any chance of a link to the best english OS that my phone will alow flashed onto it without the wrong version error. Do i have to do that code entering thing to set the phone from singapore? Incidently and for the information of the forum, I HAD the sleep of death thing going on, the only problem I had but a hard reset of the phone seems to have sorted it and also seems to have lengthened the battery life somewhat - I fell asleep with the radio on last night and it was still on almost full charge this morning - infact its now mid-day and its on at least 80% (4bars) and i just did another two hour walk with the dogs playing the radio thru the speaker. Phone really rocks - would do anything for an English OS tho, my Spanish is very good, but its just NOT the same, its like watching the simpsons Dubbed into Spanish, still funny but not the same voices. Great Forum by the way, I can see some wasted days spent here - lol. off to donate like a good boy should now.
