Guest omnia_addict Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 First off, "Hi everyone" I'm new here and been browsing through all the useful posts. What annoys me though is that I bought the phone to watch movies on the large screen. But in mediaplayer there are black lines on both edges, does anyone know how to remove these and actually take full advantage of the screen size? I thought maybe a hedden setting or maybe remove mediaplayer and install another program?
Guest svilendotorg Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 You have to download and play widescreen movies with 16/9 or 16/10 aspect ratio to remove or reduce the black lines.
Guest omnia_addict Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 I've been using plato on the widescreen setting but still I get the black lines. I'll try a different 3pg converter see if that helps
Guest greyfox8585 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 your best option is to buy imtoo mpeg encoder ultimate and encode your movies to 400x240 in divx and watch with tcpmp
Guest MightyMouth Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Rather than buying something to convert videos try Super from erightsoft first, Its good for converting just about anything to anything else.
Guest richwithomnia Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Here is another link for the software: http://www.filehippo.com/download_super/
Guest somedude Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 best thing to do is to use coreplayer. It will allow you to fill the screen with the movie.
