on my old mobile device i had something called bluetooth manager

when you opened that yuou could select NEW

and then select whatever you needed (like an activesync link for bluetooth)

in the omnia i can not find it at all

i can add bluetooth devices like gps, servers etc but can not connect to those items.

can somebody point me in the right connection.

I tried to do this with my Diamond a few weeks ago - took me bloody ages, and even then I wasn't too impressed (probably didn't get it totally right).

I had to set up ActiveSync on the PC to listen on a COM port that was mapped to a bluetooth serial port on the PC. Then when that was done, get the Phone to search for devices / ports on the PC. ActiveSync port should then show, and that should get you going.

If you want more detailed info - someone else can probably help you better than I (I gave up on the BT ActiveSync - preferred plugging into PC for charging too.
