DTHJ9-MCR03 & Net 2.0 (or 3.0) question

Hi gang! I'm running DTHJ9-MCR03, which I really, really like. Because I travel a bit, I use Zagat to pick out restaurants and so forth, so I don't get too ill. When I try to run Zagat on top of DTHJ9-MCR03, it tries to load some other version (older) of .NET. Of course, the newer version of .NET (3.5) that's in MCR03 won't let the older version get installed after the download.

Does anyone know a workaround? .NET 3.5 is embedded in the code, so I can't remove it. And I'm not exactly certain what it's looking for that isn't in .NET 3.5.
