Guest herojas Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Hi people, Someone knows how can we make that the SILVERINBOX program be the message program default. The only icon that I can see is in the windows folder. When I press the icon the program starts but in the programs menu doesn't appear. Can we put that icon in the "Star" menu to make easy the lauch of the program? Thanks

Can we put that icon in the "Star" menu to make easy the lauch of the program? Thanks If you mean the Start Menu then all you need to do is create a link to the exe file in the "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs". Windows File Explore or Total Commander can create links to the exe files (File explore "copy" the exe file - then when you have move to the new folder the context menu will allow you to create a shortcut). If you have total commander - then you can edit the "tmail.lnk" and re-direct the link from tmail.exe (the default) to silverinbox.exe. This will cause many programs to go straight to the Silver Inbox. There is a registry hack which will make this the default from the Samsung Today screens -but this has been explained a hundred times in this forum - so I will leave it to you to search B) If there is a special Star Menu - then I have no idea. Guest scoiattolo Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 There is NO silverinbox in the latest HL1 and HL2 roms. It was removed by Samsung. You can find the latest version available here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-r...he-silverinbox/
Guest Michael122w Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Have they improved it yet? Biggest issue I had was it didn't 'bold' new messages! P Hey Paul, Silver Inbox had a separate icon for read and unread messages. There was an open envelope for read and a closed envelope to the left of the messages. It wasn't as obvious as the 'bold' solution given by pocket outlook. I did like the way that a left-right swipe of your finger would switch between account. But the lastest ROM updates taken from HTC seem to have this feature with pocket outlook. Michael.
