Cool Omnia Dialer+Caller Replacement

Ok here it is. I fixed also the buttons for Landscape and made a bit nicer the lock panel.

Instructions replace in \Windows. Softreset

I dont have the totaly original one cause i have Passoas rom but please backup the original SECDialer.dll before using this. It works anw :P

If someone can upload also the original here would be nice.

Well, based on your bugs report, I think that's a FAIL~ The ''*#0002*28346#'' is very important to me. Same goes for Quick spell. Hope you guys can find a better alternative. Thanks anyways!

that particular number opens soundtester application (AudioControl). there you can alter output to your speaker or headphones, input level of microphone...

example: here you can increase the "discrete" omnia headphone output. (menu->normal->headset, HP set to something between -12db and 0db (i do not recommend +db).

Hello ,,

i try it ,, and i found that when i call some one with wating ,, there is no wating tone or any thing that show the wating !!!

with the orginal dialer it show that the - call is wating-

so can any one fix this issue ??

Hmm... I used it for a quite a long time :)

I think the it is the best Dialer <_<

i tried it and sofar it looks good

speed is good(much faster than the standard dailer)

has simcontact integration

the only bugs/shortcomings i noticed are

1 Codes are not accepted(eg *#0228# is not working so other do not work either)

2 when scrolling through contacts there is a abc bar on the right

you can however not jump to the letter you want but need to scroll all the way down.

3 when hitting the end call button on the screen it takes a long time to hang up the phone(same goes for the hardware button)

do not know if this is a software or phone issue.

4 THE CALL ANSWER BUTTON DOES NOT WORK, you need to answer the call with your hardwarebutton

strange because the screen reacts to the keypress but the phone does not pickup the line

i ditched icontacts and will try it for a while.

Running a cooked WM6.5 rom also and everything is perfect.. and I CAN jump to a specific letter in the index on the side scrollbar

The issue that I have run into is that if I dial and hold the 1 button, it doesn't pull up the voicemail.

Is this an issue for anyone? I have run 1.3.5 and 1.4.

its decent, but i would like having the history be together with the dial page, like you have normally on winmo. small detail but it irritates me. i also dislike that even if the screen is locked it rotates. only have had it for a day now.. doesnt feel like its worth that much money.

one thing i dont like about all these dialers is the lack of being able to lock the screen.... sure you can unlock it if you need to search for a contact, but there is no way to lock it again 4 when you stick the phone against your face. i was also able to access the start menu even with the screen locked during a call. it has some eye candy but thats not what it takes to make something useful. the samsung dialer has a nice/annoying lock. it'd be nice for it to have a button on screen to relock it instead of the time based delay used.

panoramic phone genius is real nice too but doesnt have a dialer.

inesoft phone is similar to the program, but seems less refined visually.

a file explorer from Spam alert would be nice, their scrolling is very fluid.

maybe if they built a whole shell it might be worth like 30 bux.

these guys have the most irritating marketing campaign though.
