Redfly have announced two new models to replace the existing C8

First there's the C8N @$299 - pretty much the same unit ( 8 inch screen, 4,500mAh / 8 hour battery) with the addition of an extra socket near the VGA output. With the purchase of an optional 'media cable' ($20) this provides PAL/NTSC video input to allow the use of the terminal as a display, and an extra USB socket to connect ipods etc for viewing stored images *with no smartphone connected*.

There is also a cost-reduced version the C7 with a 7" screen and 5 hour battery @$229

Car chargers and spare mains chargers also now available.
