is there a way to speed up the keyboard? i find the slow speed frustrating.

Which part of the keyboard frustrates you?

The key repetition rate? Or the response to keyboard presses?

I'd like to be able to speed up the key repetition rate as it takes forever to delete a long sentence with the backspace key.

Pressing & holding the Back key only erases the entire entry.

I'm guessing there should be a registry tweak to this.

PS: I resort to using the Fn+Scroll wheel trick to select large chunks of text and copy or delete them.
