Access to programs

I have found Google maps, which works, in my Orange i900 under file explorer - windows, how do I relocate it, or other files, to open quickly instead of scrolling down loads of files from file explorer?

And music, have 25 albums on sd card, how do I get them to show in media player library rather than a few individual tracks saved to the device? (which I can't set as alarm sounds and ringtones)

or how do I get the alarm to sound from phone switched off like my Nokia? Seems daft to have it on all night.

I have unlocked this phone after much difficulty, finally thanks to this site and feedback from others who have used www.unlocksamsung.co.uk - brilliant,well communicated, 48hrs, where Orange were useless and unwilling, made me add credit to pay as you go sim, then called next day and said couldn't do it, complaint got my Canary minutes clawed back! Samsung uninterested, and ebay links and general web unlocking services and local shops all unable to help for minimum 3 months. Well recommended.

I would love to know how to debrand it, any help would be appreciated.

I want to get rid of the Orangeworld rubbish, Orange Music, Orange this Orange that, or will get rid of the phone.

Fyi best customer service was Virgin (payg) or o2 (simplicity). (also both free voicemail)

You can add programs to the Programs list by creating a shortcut and placing it in the "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs" Directory. File Explorer creates links or shortcuts by first copying the file (long pressing on the file then select copy) the navigate to the next directory and selected Menu>Edit>Paste shortcut.

If you are talking about Windows Media Player - first update the library via the menu button. Once it has updated the music should appear in the library. If they don't then check in the top left hand corner and change the library from the device to the storage card. Otherwise you may not have compatible music formats.

Sorry for the alarm to work the device needs to be at least in sleep mode - not turned off!

For debranding - can you just update your rom to one of the no-name ROMS? I think it would be easier than de-branding.

Edit: Oh! for ring tones - if you use the Samsung Media Album and navigate to the MP3 then you can set them as your ring tone (long press and select "set as" then "ring tone")
