Guest pidsw Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Pretty much a clone of the samsung keyboard with minor differences - Keys a tiny bit shorter in portrait mode - you can toggle portrait vs landscape while the device is in portrait - In landscape it provides a display of your text in a fixed location and then submits it when you press enter. - This is useful as the keyboard covers most of the screen so that it is very difficult to read any potentially underlying characters - This was the only mode in SPB Keyboard 3.01 - Key previews (as with resco, zoomboard, iphone, etc) Not that just imho - no haptic feedback. - Landscape is a little larger. Perfect size imho. Biggest mobile keyboard I have ever used aside from the Athena. It fits the full res of the Omnia The toggle between half screen and fully screen landscape is very fast I like it so far. Mainly because the portrait mode doesn't cover they text that you are typeing which seems to happen with the samsung keyboard. I like touch pal as well, but The three (samsung, SPB and TouchPal) each have their benefits. Its hard to settle on one. Right now I am using SPB.
