Just bought 16gb white Omnia and says memory almost full already!!! HELP!

so i juss got my omnia todai. brand new in box. 16gb white omnia. it say that the rom is i900XHH3/DZHH3. first thing i did was try to install the spb mobile shell. after several tries of installing it it kept on saying unsuccessful install on my device and that there is not enough space... i tried on my storage and storage card and it tells me the same thing. and i havent downloaded anything on this phone but it already tells me that i should delete some apps in the file explore tab.... anyone know why i cant get spb mobile shell????

my device memory says - 3.07 mb free out of 91.3 mb

my storage says - 14.9gb free of 14.9gb

my storage card say - 1.62 gb free of 3.78gb

Thats weird.. Can you attempt to install some other software and see if you get the same error msg. If you don't, then i guess your SPB installer is corrupted. If you do get the same error, i think you are going to have to visit samsung care centre~

This is really weird. Unless you installed multiple items on you device your internal storage should be that low. Hard reset and then if you still have the same problem you should go to a service center.

This situation is quite recurrent and I also had it. You are surely using a branded ROM version, aren't you?

What I recommend is either

1. You install an official unbranded ROM (you will get about 45 Mb of free space after hard reset): http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...read-new-dthj6/ or

2. You install a custom version (you will get more free memory than with an official one). I personally use LTE02 version that gives you 86 Mb free. Some of the choices that you have are:

b. xxxHOLiC (101 Mb free): http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...xholic-edition/

You should read what offers each ROM and make your choice.
