Guest pp56825 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 i'm currently using M2D and i'm almost happy with it, but today i find this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=449345 it's quite imazing how many things you can customize there, but the question is how it's working with our omnia. i will try to install that during the weekend and check, but maybe someone already install other HomeScreen PlusPlus UI and have some expirience, please share with us.
Guest Jokes On You Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 HomeScreen PlusPlus is the best UI out there. Im not a big fan of Manila but I did use this skin and it works. A few edits and you have exactly what you want so if you like the layout and design go ahead and use it.

Guest d3adpix3l Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Will this work on the CDMA version? Or only GSM? Also new to the whole smarphone thing, how are themes and items you download from the computer installed?
Guest lastnikita Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) It's the best UI around. but also the more complex I guess.. many skins now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350510 Edited November 26, 2008 by lastnikita

Yes it works in landscape mode. What is so great about it is that you can edit everything yourself so if you find a theme you like and what to make a few changes there is a tutorial here http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_x..._cust_im_cs.htm that shows you how to edit the theme. Here are some other themes http://www.chi-tai.info/discuss/themes/page-1 Edited November 26, 2008 by Jokes On You

Guest zagzag99 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 It works, I like the fact that it really uses the Today Screen, so it's more WM approach than SPB Mobile Shell that just provides a screen additionally to the today. The only problem is that this pack is not for omnia. The m2d*.xml files are configuring a smaller display. It shouldn't be a problem to modify it to heigher high... I am just too tired to try it right now. If someone makes it please upload the modifications.
Guest zagzag99 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I doesn't support landscape , it will introduce a scrollbar and an empty section on the right side. Strangely, I suspect that installation messed up my phone's keypad... I no longer have the digits 1-9 on it
Guest Jasey12 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Before i create a new thread, i want to ask, is it possible to create a theme with docked icons at the bottom? (like the iPhone) but thus still retaining the samsung widget? Thanks
