Anyone know which application activate flashlight function?

I think there is a app on xda that toggles the flashlight on and off but if I remember correctly it was for HTC devices.

not for htc specifically, i use this to map to a button press (toggle on/off)

It works really well. Just in case anyone wodering how to use it. Install the cab, and map a softkey or add a program to \program files\torchbutton\torchbutton.exe

Does anyone know how to put this on the Volume Down long hold button? This isn't under buttons so it must be a reg hack.

Unfortunely not true on my Dr Dot Rom. I know where it is supposed to be on a "stock" rom but it is just not there now. So that's why I'm asking how to access the long Vol down button. Also, touchlite program (which I am using) can be called from anywhere, where the original stock Vol down call to use the light is more restrictive (Today screen only, I think). So if anyone knows how to set the hold Vol down button, please jump in here.

In that case, try AeButtonPlus... it's a buttons app. Since the exe is provided here, just assign the exe to the vol down call button.
