Guest Cretster Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I realise that the radio relies on the headphone cable being connected as an antenna, but is there any way the radio can be activated without this being plugged in, or has anyone done a tweak to enable this?

Anyone some registry hints?
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 (edited) The headset (cable) itself is being used as an antenna so without it you'll just hear noise and bad reception. Well I found a way to get around this by using the Alarm function of the Omnia (not the default Windows Alarm!), when you enable the alarm and use the FM Radio as sound profile it will enable the radio in speaker mode but you'll just hear noise, when you move your Omnia around sometimes u'll get a 'glimp' of the sound :( by connecting the headset you'll hear sound straight away... so i'm affraid it won't work without it.
