Guest Mig-L - Bell Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Why don't you try The Core Player it reads FLV files very well...
Guest frmariam Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) Or as a free legit alternavive YouTubePlay. Check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=385227 There's also TCPMP (also free) here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...387&page=24 This TCPMP build3 works in WM 6.1 and in Omnia and plays various formats. However I've never been able to get it to play flv in my phone... Care to try and post your results? Edited November 26, 2008 by frmariam
Guest arunachalam Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I have you tube player, tcpmp recomp3 & tcpmp 0.72rc1 gf5500 alpha 4.1.also my opera with flashlite 3.1 nice support with utube and video.google.streamed vidios temporarily available in windows/temp folder on device. from ther I copy the file and paste to my storage.
Guest arunachalam Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 coreplayer will not play flv4 on2/vp6.tcpmp 0.72 rc1 gf5500 alpha 4.1 canplay all flv.but it is fully compatible with thoshiba g900.In omnia it strucks during on2vp6 video.in omnia ther is no goforce5500 graphic card(chip).nico also compatible with sharp wilcom wm6.1.Thank you to both repliers.
Guest frmariam Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) Sorry. I assumed you wanted an alternative... I can't use NicoFLV. It gives me a warning if I try to launch it (plus I can't read the txt for instructions...). I can't even play flv in TCPMP (Omina related issue I think... does yours work? if so where can I find it?) The Nico problem may be because I have flash 2.1 (an official rom)... Guest greyfox8585 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 tcpmp build 3 will only play flv with flashvideobundle installed. or rather itll play previously saved flv files but if you want streaming flv try coreplayer i find if i uninstall flashvideobundle and then try and play flv files on tcpmp itll say wont play flv1
Guest frmariam Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) Indeed you are right. And I just facepalmed myself... I must have tried an older version of the FlashBundle in the past since this new one works great... Or I installed to a different drive (don't know if it's because of my WM localization but TCPMP installs to the device memory regardless of the drive I select). However it's still strange since the author stated that these new builds of TCPMP support the FLV format straight out of the CAB (if not for streaming then to play flv already on the device... but it always crashed). But I'll troll this thread no more with stuff unrelated to its suject... Edited November 26, 2008 by frmariam
Guest arunachalam Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Dear Frmariam this way you try to play flv on ur device.first open flv bundle cab in your pc(it shows in pc like rar file if you installed winrar).it shows all files of cab.you extract flv splitter and flv codec to desktop.then you copy this two file to tcpmp folder on ur device &SOFT reset.it should work with flv.good luck.
Guest arunachalam Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) I dont know japan language.thro google only I found this icchu.seesaa.net(translated).if some developers seeing this they can reconstructed for our device. Edited November 27, 2008 by arunachalam
Guest frmariam Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I got it working yesterday. I said so in my previous post. Still I didn't know all i needed was to add flvffmpeg.plg and flvsplitter.plg in TCPMP folder to make it work (I think these are the files you refered. I found that MSCEinf is better to view PPC cab setup files. Still curious about how good Nicoflv may be
Guest arunachalam Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 you are right.these two files only.my gprs speed is very low and my opera not co operating to reply.thank you for the link.
