Guest supertxull Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 There are tasks which are executed once during system startup. What does they mean? - RilBubble.lnk - Delete_RO.lnk - Poutlook.lnk - Datakeeper.lnk ¿Can I delete this tasks? Thanks.
Guest lastnikita Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 I think Poutlook is only usefull is push is enabled, but I'm not sure. It seems I could delete everything (there are other shortcuts there too) without any problem. The point is, I don't know what those are supposed to do.. There are also some services I don't understand either: CABfileMover.exe, InitHomeDownload.exe, tskschedule.exe, sdpready.exe, MassStorageDetector.exe, btp_notification_ui.exe

The only things I have in the StartUp folder are BluetoothManager (if you remove it, your Omnia-or any WinMo device, for the record-won't find the BT radio), and the SPB Startup (for SPB Mobile Shell).

Guest epdm Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 I deleted them all and haven't noticed any missing functionality. In fact I have a few more - poutlook.lnk - SipListener.lnk - RilBubble.lnk - Alarmwatcher.lnk - TimeWizzard.lnk - Delete_RO.lnk - DataKeeper.lnk - BluetoothManager.lnk In fact when I disable these opening emails and sms goes a lot faster. I haven't noticed any bluetooth problems yet. But I'll have to see what happens wtih the BT-headset.
