Internet Access Question

So I've used other WM based devices before but they have never been a phone, only a PPC. What I wan't to know is how do you set up so that some applications (MSN/VoIP client etc.) ONLY connect via WiFi while still allowing some like IE to connect via GPRS/HSPDA? Also how can you make it so that applications that normally connect via GPRS/HSPDA connect through WiFi when available instead? I'm sure it's probably a stupid question but never having a phone with both built in it means I've never had to know B)

What a strange reply B)

Why do you not want to share them openly, this is exactly what this forum is for isn't it?

I know that Skype when you install it you can say "Use only WIFI", "Use any connection" or "Use GPRS".

I'm not sure if you can do that with msn.

Can anyone confirm if there is any way to do this with all other applications that want to try and access the internet?

Basically I don't want MSN/IE/Windows updates etc. using up my data allowance because it could be costly....at home when it gets on my WiFi it can go for it's life B)
