hats the newest and most stable UK ROM

hi guys ,

new here and after reading the threads im mind boggled with all the info,

ive tried the link to samsund uk to update my rom but when i put my versiojn in it wont let me update it says cannot be found.

i have

I900DXHI1/DXHI1

i was wondering if there is a more stable rom or a better version that lets tom tom work without GPS gate

i have IGO 8 on mine and i have to wait a long time for lock on.

i can be walking for hours and it wont lock on.

but when i get in the car and go 35 mph plus it takes like 15 mins but it locks on and gets a signal.

its so confusing

its an orange mobile but unlocked

hope you can give some advise on other newer roms i have vista

If you move while trying to get a GPS fix, it will take much longer before you have a fix...The best you can do is to remain stationary until you have a gps fix...I had an Orange Omnia, flashed it with DXHJ1...

I have iGO8 running on it using the internal GPS but I prefer to use an external as it takes much longer to get a fix on the internat GPS...I am not using any extra program to get the internal GPS working(faster)...

There is a lot of info out on the net about GPS, iGO8 and the Omnia...use google and you will find it!
