Pocket PC games running on SPV

I have tried running pocket PC games on my spv and they have usually worked, the problem is that the screen size is different on the pocket pc so half the game area would be cut off. Also not all controls work, as i am aware of the extra buttons and touch screen of the pocket pc.

Maybe it would be pretty simple for a developers point of view to modify these games or maybe apps to run on the SPV. It could save on time and money to just create 1 game or app to run both after making the neccesary modifications.
