Guest dciantar Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 Do anyone have a nice touch friendly calendar to use? As the standard windows mobile calendar on the omnia is good, but some buttons are really small as they are intended to press them with the pen.

If you are looking for a simple replacement and do not require a more sophisticated calendar app, this is a good choice. (www.thumbapps.com) If you require more information another program called pocket informant is also available. (www.webis.net) Unfortunately, they are both commercial aps which you would have to pay for.
Guest merlot Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 I'm using ThumbCal, too. And I'm very happy with this app. But it's not for less you have to pay for it after a 14day trail period. When you're searching for a free finger-friendly calendar choose PocketCM Calendar. It's not as good as ThumCal but finger-friendly and doesn't cost anything.

I am using 1.24 at the moment - and think it is well worth the money. It is by far the best package on the market for finger use!

As the standard windows mobile calendar on the omnia is good, but some buttons are really small as they are intended to press them with the pen. Pocket Informant is very good (I don't know if better than ThumbCal). I also use another different solution. Check mail2web. I have created an account I and synchronize my calendar. If you use outlook on a PC, you can add your appointments with outlook on your PC (or through the web page), and it magically appears in your omnia through 3G!

I'm using 1.25 it's quite faster than 1.24 and below. If you have a valid license you can update for free.
