Guest smoothcrooner Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Hi all, My battery drainage on my Orange branded Omnia is atrocious:thumbsdow, I barely get 18 hours of use on one single charge if I'm lucky. My ROM version is BVHH1, I know, the dreaded HHs, anyone else experiencing this problem? I've spoken to Orange to find out if a ROM upgrade is forthcoming, only to be told that one will not be available for a couple of months at least:mad::mad:

My ROM version is BVHH1.... Had the same problem until I updated the firmware: http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...re-version-fix/ I'm in the UK and I use the DX-firmwares .... they work great, no regionality problems at all.

Moreover, I recently discovered that I had a problem with a contact via activesync (a contact with a photo), and my phone tried to update this contact each time it tried to retrieve mails and it costed me more than 10 Mb per day => it drained the battery. I suppressed this contact and all is OK now: the conclusion is that activesync never got connected before and right now the data transfer needed for activesync is very small.
