Date on email and text message headers

I have a strange problem which I hope someone can help me with. On all my dates on the headers of emails, text messages or calls, the date appears as DD/11/YYYY. It also does this on 3rd party software. I have not found any reference to this anywhere. Can anyone help? I have done a soft and hard reset but this has made no difference.
