Cannot Enable Wi-FI!!

Hello all, I have been lurking on these forums for some time now awaiting the arrival of my new phone, today I recieved it but I cannot for the life of me get the wi-fi working.

EDIT: The Wi-FI Power save will not allow you to connect for some reason. If you just recieved your VZW Omnia and cannot get wi-fi to work. disable the wi fi power save feature in Settings > Power.

ok so it looks as though i spoke too soon. I got the wi-fi to work for awhile but now after i disabled it i no longer see it in the wireless manager!! i only have phone and bluetooth now and no WIFI!? WTF is wrong with this thing?!

try uninstalling the vz app store....if that doesnt work, try uninstalling vz nav...i did both at the same time, and my wifi started working...of course, i dont need either program, so if you use vz nav, you might not want to do that

i wish i had seen your reply sooner. I uninstalled the VZ webmail with no luck but didnt try the app store. I instead did a hard reset (losing all my contacts of course *arg*) and it started working again. I beleive im just gonna not install any apps /games for now just to get used to the phone. sucks that i cannot put any games/media players on but for now it will have to do.
