Guest robbmasters Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) The best low cost / high data deal I can find on the HTC Touch HD is Vodafone Talker £30 + Mobile Web (18 months) Phone cost: FREE Inclusive minutes: 500 Crossnet Inclusive texts: 100 Inclusive web: Unlimited Monthly cost: £35.00 This is from http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/Brands...n443/p3185.aspx Anyone seen a better deal? (They also do 200 minutes and 1000 texts for the same price, if you prefer.) Edit: Looks like "Unlimited" web really means 500MB, so not quite as good as I'd hoped. That's the best deal I've found as well. I'm quite keen to leave Orange's 250mb unlimited data though. Vodafone has better reception from what I remember as well.
Guest ddmf Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Ordered. Thank you. Hopefully this will arrive before the O2 deal from mobiles.co.uk
Guest Bewdy Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Ordered. Thank you. Hopefully this will arrive before the O2 deal from mobiles.co.uk I ordered from them yesterday. Although it says upto 4 days for delivery, they said that despite trying to get it to me by the end of the week, it may be early next week, as they are low on stock. Doesn't sound promising, but all I can do is wait.
Guest robbmasters Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Hey! You weren't all supposed to be depleting their stock before I got mine! B) I actually emailed them to ask if they had stock. No reply as yet...

I've been waiting for the mobiles.co.uk O2 deal since the 14th November - I've had one email from them, on the 15th November to say that it may take some time. Normally I would wait, but my T-Mobile PAC code runs out on the 14th December and no-one will sell me the touch hd but send me a sim card first!

This website is now updated stating next day delivery, hopefully this means that those who placed an order early should be getting these by tomorrow. I've emailed them so lets see what they say!

Guest ddmf Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 and I've heard back from them, the website is wrong!!!, it's supposed to be 3 days now, they say they are getting them in on Saturday!! Ha! Sounds familiar. I mean, I've never dealt with mobiles.co.uk, and what I heard on the web was all good - it's just a shame that they're being messed around. To be honest, I thought the Touch HD was an Orange exclusive (according to Orange) - but why advertise if you don't have the stock. Anyway, whichever phone arrives first I will keep - ooh, Vodafone or O2... who will win B)
