Guest zagzag99 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I've been using my omnia with Opera for quite some time, and always when I used regular google URLs I would get regular pages. All of a sudden today google insists on redirecting my requests to their mobile-based page. I have my Opera set to identify as Desktop Computer. Do you know what else can I try ? Is there a place or a util I can use to modify the user-agent that Opera is transmitting ?

If you click 'settings' on the google homepage in Opera, you'll see 'Format web pages for your phone', just turn that off. Should do the trick
Guest scoiattolo Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) Go In Opera, Settings, Advanced, and chose the desired tab in "Identify as". BTW as posted above, you should be able to change the mobile or normal view on google homepage as well B) Edited December 2, 2008 by scoiattolo
Guest zagzag99 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I saw these settings. It allows me to configure the "Search Mode" - mobile or normal. But not the other services they have like iGoogle.com I've cleaned cookies and cache and checked the settings again, and although it's all set to normal and not mobile they keep showing me gmail and igoogle in mobile mode.
