Connecting Omnia to computre, wifi problems.

Hey guys my name's Martin B)

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find any relating topics when searching. But as soon as I connect my omnia to my computer (via active syncing, not usb data storage mode), my computer automatically tries using it as a modem or something?! I don't want it to do this. Am I doing something wrong? How can I change this?

It's trying to sync your outlook (if you have set this) and other things (e.g. GPS Xtra data if you have the latest rom, or weather data, ecc.) using your PC intenet connection.

It's a common dafault setting of most programs since the PC internet connection is supposed to be free. To avoid this you should disable the option from the programs themeselves, starting with activesync
