Guest conqueror Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) I have a request. HTC has a program called "Connection Setup" which allows the device to detect the internet & mms settings automatically as soon as changing the sim card when traveling to a new country. I tried to run it on the Omnia but it couldn't accept. The link of it is http://www.4shared.com/file/70534579/f3661...5_35353_bs.html Is it possible to find a way t run it on the Omnia . Guest bpivk Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 AFAIK Omnia gives you an option to save new settings as soon as you insert a new SIM. Well at least my Omnia. I tryed two cards and it worked great. No hassle with MMS and UMTS settings.

For example; after using *#1547692*# and setting the device on any country. The result that I'll find on the "operator settings" the operators working in the same country only and are not changeable even if changing the Sim.

Pretty old thread but ill give it a go:) I have the same problem and Vodafone Malta cannot send settings via sms so would be great to have a connectionsetup.cab or similar to simply enter the settings to! Anyone that has an idea if this exists?
