Guest nasxsx Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Is there any way to calibrate G-sensor system wide (not only for app that's using sensor and offers calibration)? Some kind of app like one for HTC Touch or something?
Guest zemrwhite2 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Hello, There is nothing I have heard of right out of the box. If you are a developer, you might be interested in looking at the source code of this application. There are interesting un-investigated IOCTLs in the AccSensor driver, some might concern calibration who knows ?
Guest nasxsx Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Thanks, I'll take a look B) I've also found some settings in registry (HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\accsensor\EtiqX, EtiqY, EtiqZ, MidRot and MinRot). I'll have to try to figure out what are they doing (or maybe you know something B))
Guest zemrwhite2 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Sorry, I don't know what they mean. Perhaps some concern calibration, other threshold for screen orientation change, who knows ? Note that I have not seen those registry keys in driver disassembly (I might be wrong). I am not working with WinMo at the moment so I will not investigate, but if you learn something I will be very happy to read here at MoDaCo about your discoveries !
