Guest guydjemal Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Does the new A-GPS application improve GPS performance or does it just add more XTRA download options?
Guest gravityz Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 (edited) Really weird when i replace the original file with the new one it still shows the old interface when i click on it. i checked and the file is replaced(eg overwrite romfile) old file was 28K, new one is 60k i launch it by using reco explorer so i definately am launching the right file when i launch it from temp i get the new version anybody else has this(ys i did a soft reset) Does the new A-GPS application improve GPS performance or does it just add more XTRA download options? Same problem here. Probaply you're not using an english ROM. The system keeps User Interface translation in another file which is called something like: "GPS_XTRA.exe.0407.mui". In there you are missing the additional labels used in the new software. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't deleted, nor move this file as it is in ROM.
Guest gravityz Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) yes i noticed that file(i am using the dutch rom) you are right when the file is called agps_xtra.exe i get the new user interface when i copy gps_xtra.exe.0413.mui to agps_xtra.0413.exe i get the old interface i overwrote the mui file with a fake text file now it works.
