Guest travelbug Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 hi guys, is there a way to map the suspend function to a button? i tried looking at he available options in settings>personal>buttons and there seems to be no option for this. i then mapped black me to a button but its not the same thing. i would like to map suspend instead of blanking the screen (which black me does) to conserve power. cheers ps. would it also be possible to add a suspend button to the my menu section of spb mobile shell if you have pocket plus?
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Pressing the power button at the top already does this.....
Guest travelbug Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Pressing the power button at the top already does this..... yes i know but its kinda hard to reach especially with one hand. and it would infintitely be convinient to have a button on the now screen or use the menu button which is more accesibile than the power button. any ideas how?
Guest Lyncexx Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 AE Button Plus will do anything you want ;] you can put on the button "Main Menu" 1 click menu, double clicks suspend, triple click reboot or whatever you need
Guest travelbug Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 pocket plus adds a suspend command to button config. that did it for me! thanks all

Really? I find it quite easy to reach at the top to wake and sleep the device but, i have fairly long fingers so maybe thats why. Glad you got it sorted out in anycase.
