Guest Kenshino Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Can anyone help me with getting Japanese input on omnia? I have Japanese friends that I would like to keep in contact with, typing in romaji is fine but I'd like to type in proper Japanese once in awhile at least. I tried searching the forums but it seems the search function is broken. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me with this!!
Guest ellaqezi Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 i'm currently using this cab from ookii.org..JapaneseInputWM5.CAB i tried a couple of things i found on xda but this is the only working one i've tried so far.

Guest La Traviata Posted July 25, 2009 Report Posted July 25, 2009 I'm using the .cab from flinx1, works a treat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445550 It comes with several SIPs, including tegaki. If you're finding the keyboards a bit small, try installing SPB keyboard on top. This will give you a half screen/full screen hiragana/katakana keyboard, including landscape. Also gets rid of the Samsung keyboard popping up randomly or not typing in Opera if you set it as default.
