Are you sure Omnia is coming to Israel already ? I mean, officially.

It's here in Israel for months already not officially, available by private phone resellers, but not supported by anyone here in israel.

To my knowledge there is no Hebrew ROM, not official one for sure.

You can install PDAC Hebrew on the Omnia, or Eyron.

I heard Eyron version slows the phone (as it slows any WindowsMobile, because being a bigger pack)

I have PDAC Hebrew, it works nicely, on any ROM (I tried 3 already).

If you just need hebrew support for SMS/Emails/Office and Hebrew Input (Keyboards) then you get it with PDAC (www.wince.co.il)

Just note that it's no finger friendly hebrew input (keyboard is for windows mobile, meaning stylus).

I use "Resco Keyboard" with hebrew because the keys are bigger (but I rarely use hebrew anyway in SMSing and etc)

Okay, Good to know.

Just note the following :

1. Most branded ROMs (and if cellcom made such) are not of high performance.

2. Branded ROMs make the Phone's memory storage even more crowded.

3. Unless someone will by the Cellcom phone and dump the ROM using the methods described in this forum, don't expect this ROM to show up for download. You will need to go to cellcom and maybe they'd ROM your phone.

And last, I myself can't stand Hebrew windows, rather stay with english interface.

You'll just need the GPRS & MMS settings from cellcom support line, and they'll direct you on how to set it up.

I've had such a call with orange.
