Guest wonderstoat Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Hi I have a Touch Diamond. I was wondering if anyone can help me. Does anyone know of an inbox extender that will enable me to: Open a new(blank) SMS message, write it, and when I press "send" (or even "to") it will show me a list of , say, the last 10 people I sent SMS messages to? My old Nokia used to have this, and it's dead handy. Otherwise I find myself having to scroll through the 20+ Pauls or Andy's in my contacts list to find the particular Paul or Andy that I always text. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks Stoatie
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 I had past sony ericssons that did this as well and I agree, it is a handy feature. I've been looking for something like that ever since I got my WMphone but i've yet to find it. B)

B) Yes, I have another app which I bought to allow me to group message (PowerSMS) which is really cool and also has a feature which calls up (lightning fast) your SMS history on the stats page, so it is at least possbile to call up SMS history quickly without having a performance impact. In fact PowerSMS is an almost perfect example of WM software that does its job and then closes, without trying to reproduce any other functionality that you don't need.
Guest bugless Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 When I type an SMS if I click and hold on a space in the 'to' box, it comes up with a list of a few recent recipients and then an option called 'recent log...' which brings up a much longer list. This is on a samsung omnia and it is my first winmo phone, so I am not sure if this is a windows thing or an omnia thing or even an spb mobile shell thing, but I am sure glad I found it because every other phone i have owned has done this. Anyway give it a try and let us know if it works on your phone.
