Guest DJRedLine Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 the question seems a bit stupid but can I know what does the program in the link do...cause I didnt understand what the xda-developers site say...thx very much anyway Majority of Window Mobiles run at different resolutions, this app allows you to change the resolution. This basically means we can install some games that are designed for other phones and change the screen size to fit the omnia.
Guest samHDS Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 more games like drums machine ace too. however u need to know where to find them... for free. haha. mayb you guys can try google games for other resolution and try them. then share them here. for me, i have tried guitarhero 3, drums kit ace and pool rebel so far. for QVGA This are the other games which worked fine with omnia without this software. Atomic battle dragon Resco guardian Insaniquarium Nanobotz Resco bubbles Teeter Worms A space oddity warfare INC Asphalt4 Rabbit wars
Guest syrguy1969 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I saw this over at XDA as well and haven't quite gotten around to asking there, but maybe you guys here know. Seeing as the Omnia has the largest QVGA screen do we really need to change the resolution at all? I have not had any conflict with any app I had on my 700wx (240x240) being used on my Omnia.
Guest samHDS Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 for some application yes. it wouldnt run in WQVGA. or sometimes the buttons will jump all over the screen. therefore by changing the resolution. we will be able to use them. but this will b more used mainly for games i believe.
