Guest greengriff Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Sorry if this is a bit of a lame question, but where do you put the .CAB files that you get for little fixes? I downloaded the nodata.cab from here and put it in 'my storage', however when I go into and click on 'setup' it just opens a blank opera broswer page. What am I doing wrong?
Guest Yunabeco Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 You put the CAB files anywhere you want in your device, then head to the file explorer, browse to them and click on them.

Guest Yunabeco Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 If they are zipped (.zip), you have to unzip them. The file to put on the device is a .cab file.
Guest leighaus Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 keep in mind, winrar etc will show up a .cab file as looking like one of their files.. dont extract the cab before moving it to your phone, only unzip/unrar it if its been rar'd/zipped as well.

The problem must be with the 'nodata.cab' file then. I just installed another .cab no problem at all, but when I click on the nodata.cab I get the message: 'There is no application associated with 'nodata'. Run the application first then open this file from within the application.' The 'nodata.cab' was downloaded form this site. Has anybody else installed it successfully?
