What is the Data Connection with the 3E+ symbol

Cause I dont get a H for HSDPA nor do i get a 3G.

I bought an i900 for myself from Optus Store in Australia it came with

PDA: i900DFHJ6/DFHJ6

PHONE: i900XXHJ1

Ive now upgraded to i900DXHK2 and when im trying to add a new connection it only has under modem: Cellular Line (GPRS) not (GPRS, 3G)

why is this. it sux cause every time i need to download something or surf the net it uses GPRS not 3G.

Can anyone help me??????
