Hi all,

I'm trying to integrate HTC 2.0 (or older) in my own ROM, without success <_< The only thing working is that you can shutdown programs directly with the cross in the right corner. That's a beggining but not enough because there is no task menu on the today screen :) ...

I thought it was a htc's dll. so I flashed PDAVIET's ROM, and extract all htc*.* and every file that has in its filename "task". packed and flashed, and... unsuccessful :(

So, maybe it's a registry key... I will reflash and make a full backup of the registry. Wait and see

You can use X-Button for pocket pc version 1.5 from HTC too, it's working with my rom, Taril HL2.

i hope this helps.

Hello,

I find the solution :D

1 - Install Cab Himalaya Task Manager ( find in xda )

http://rapidshare.com/files/142953559/HIMA...anager.rar.html

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...0498&page=3

2 - Replace this file in \Windows

http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=27492

3 - Import the reg in the file ( rename rgu in reg )

Thanks Qbus for his help :)

In the archive, you can find " registry.rgu ", just rename in " registry.reg " and with a registry editor, import

Try to install this CAB.

I haven't tested this one so I'm not responsible for any problems you may have after installing this app.

I tried it and you can install it without problem. Make a softreset, the symbol with the three little bars and the arrow appears but is not working. That's too bad.

Wait but you've tried exactly this package?

OK - I tried my CAB. It's not working.

I don't know why on the start the TaskService is not launching. If I start it from Taskmanager by hand it works. But don't want to start at Omnia boot.

Don't have time to investigate it more right now so I'm giving up.

I want to change the color of it now but it seems just changing the image files and overwriting the ones in the Windows directory isn't enough. They stay the same even after a soft reset. :)
