Omnia Hardware Issues

I was just fooling around with my Omnia when I realized that there's a squeaky-groan-cheap-plasticky-(nokia) effect when I press the area on the right side of the phone, just above the 'up' volume button. Does anyone else notice this? I just want to know if the problem is with my phone or with the hardware in general.

Also the chrome on the side buttons (camera and volume ones) is already starting to fade. Phone barely 2 months old too. A dam shame B)

EDIT: Added a poll so that I can get some idea of the spread of this flaw.

This is coming from the battery, try removing the battery and test the noise, it will not be there, what I do is I cover the battery "except for the metal contacts" with a thin piece of cloth "or tissue" and put it in the phone, with that it will not have these noises or it will minimize it at least!
