Guest luuuki Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Now the problem is that once a time, from unknown reasons Omnia loses sound. Profile "normal", is turned on all the time and "boom", there is no sound. Neither the music nor the notifications, there is nothing in one word, Omnia becomes silent. This happens once or twice a day. Soft reset helps. Yeah, but is this a proper solution, once or twice a day reseting the phone to get the sound back...? Probably not too much. My ROM is polish SAHJ3. Does anyone else have a similar problem? How to resolve it? Maybe excepting downgrade to SAHJ1 or SAHJ2...? P.S. Is there any newer polish ROM? Not branded.

Guest kodomo Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 (edited) Same as me and my way to temporary fix is push on phone button and then simply call to any number then hung up immediately, next just push hung up again twice and push up-down volumn... then sound back...... after some phone call, problem rise again -> ROM is M2D03fix i900THJ9 / i900XXHJ1 Edited December 11, 2008 by kodomo
Guest nixes Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 Do you have any apps installed that might be causing the problem? Think I might have heard something about S2U2 causing a similar problem to this...?
Guest kodomo Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 I think the caused is S2U2, because i just disable "lock when...." on all mode (just use only callerID) a couple more day and then the problem didn't came up.
Guest Carrot81 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Do you have any apps installed that might be causing the problem? Think I might have heard something about S2U2 causing a similar problem to this...? I do not have S2U2 installed, but I'm having the same problem with the sound. Can't really figure out what caused the bug... seems to happen randomly...
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 It happens to almost every Omnia - just call a number (you operator) or sometimes even press a button in the dialer and sound`ll be back :D
Guest XtremeMaC Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 this usually happens to me when I'm using the route66 and recieve a call. i dunno why but the problem dissapeared, either with new rom or new version of route 66 helped..
