I900 backlight issue, want help from you guys!!!

Hi all,

According to my knowledge, there are so many great men in our forum. Any one of you geniuses can do me a favor?

When I am using my i900 in dark room (especially on bed before sleep), I find it too shiny on the screen. I tried to shift the backlight to the lowest, but it sill hurts my eyes. However, when battery is low (as low as 10%), the backlight automatically swith off. I find the screen at that time is just ok for using I900 in darkness.

Would anyone write a script so that we can swith the backlight on or off by ourselves?

Here are something I learned:

I export two .reg files. S

imply import the dark.reg, you will get the backlight off, and the bright.reg will brings you back to normal backlight setting. (adjust auto by device)

So, can anyone to put these two into a exe, so one can swith on/off backlight by one touch

I think this may not be difficult...Guys, help!

Check in the omnia tweaks thread, should still be on the first page. I read in there about a registry hack that allows even dimmer backlight settings than was allowed through windows mobile. I've never tried it but it seems exactly what you're looking for. Have a look in that thread.
