Gmail andf email notifications

Hi All.

First of thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. helped me out loads.

Is there anyway to beef up the email access on the phone,

I am hoping for more grapical/eye candy notifications/popup when I get an email

and a better gmail experience, at the minute I have my device polling for new email every 2hours....

Push would be great but closest I have got so far has been emoze, which was pop3 only...so didnt sync my read items.

(Why we have no Gmail app onthe phone I dont know!!!)

I am running the M2D04 Rom so Manilla is setup great for email count etc.....but I was hoping for a flash style pop up when new email is recieved that I can then either dismiss or reply to.

I suggest you using www.mail2web.com

You can sync your emails, contacts, tasks and agenda. You can even have push mail.

The only thing you need to do is to forward your emails from gmail to mail2web.
