Guest Jokes On You Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 old but ok  remember that video call daesn't work in this case! You can just go to the contact and hit video dial.
Guest shokka9 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Reg change does not stick. Soft reset and goes back to 1. Thx anyway, would have been nice to free up some mem. it should do. What version Omnia you have there bobobird? Change the registry, turn the phone off (not soft reset) for 20 secs and try again. This shouldnt even be necessary really. Maybe firmware related?

Guest errtu111 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Nice, I like it. Firstly, I didn't like the look of original dialer. That's better. Secondly, the button of video call was annoying. Thirdly, 7MB free is great.
Guest smilepak Posted December 25, 2008 Report Posted December 25, 2008 The only problem with the old one that I like in the Samsung dialer is the hipatic feedback. I doesn't vibrate, so I dont know if I press hard enough when not looking at the phone.

Guest raza1 Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Hello I just got my I900 and was wondering where do you go to change this value? I tried it on the pc using regedit and didnt find anything also i tried a search on the i900 and again didnt find anything, please any help? Install the cab-file of Total Commander on your Omnia and install it by pressing it on your Omnia. After that open Total Commander and browse to plugins/registry and to the matching registry entry. Then change it.
Guest Ingvarr Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Thanks, works excellently. Not to mention that it gets rid of this annoying screen lock while in a call too
Guest AkWngnut Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 You dont like the screen lock while making calls? I thought so too until my cheek kept hitting the speaker button, now that annoying. Thanks again -Dave
Guest ciudatelu Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 I have only two words to say, and that's a big: THANK YOU!
Guest marcoin Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Can i tweak back from 0 to 1 to enable back the original dialer?
Guest SylvaiNN Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Can i tweak back from 0 to 1 to enable back the original dialer? Yes of course You can tweak back
Guest confuzzed Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 strange; in my phone there is nothing in front of enabled. Means it's only 'enabled'. Tried putting value 0 in front. Dialer has changed but no free memory so no use.
Guest OzzyW Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 I really like this 'skin' better than the Samsung skin... Only 2 things bother me with this: First of all the screen doens't get locked in a call (so I hang up or put on speaker without me wanting to do this!! ) Second of all, i used the contact button all the time with the samsung skin, now with the skin disabled this button doesnt work anymore but is replaced by a speeddial? Where I will have to add some of my favorite contacts. Is there a way to assign this button to open the phonebook? For the screenlocking part I'm sure there is a reghack available ... anyone? Greetings from Belgium Ozzy
Guest lrlfc Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just gone back to original, didnt save me an memory and to get back to original, changing 0 to 1 didnt work, had to hard reset it. but i also got sick of hanging up mid call
Guest 3shirts Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just a little shout out to sztupy for his little reg hacks tool. It has several registry tweaks, including this one, nicely presented as buttons so you can just toggle the changes without having to dig around in the registry. http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...kings-now-beta/ The interface is a little ropey at the moment (still a Beta) but the functionality is fine

I love the skin, its quick too! but i do like having the phonebook on my softkeys (which seem to link straight to the phone pad/dialer) EDIT: Just soft reset my phone and now the soft keys work :-) Love the new dialer..... seems a bit slow when pressing numbers around the 3,6,9 area... cheers Edited March 9, 2009 by barbs666

In both cases my call waiting crashed both calls on answer. The first required a hard reset, the second seems as if it will need the same :-((
