Guest Worrksforcox Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 In the camera settings on my I910 I don't see a way to disable the shutter noise, only a way to change it. Is there any way to do this? I have heard this setting referred to the upskirt alert. Ha. Any help would be great. I really don't need everyone knowing when I am taking a picture especially if I want a funny candid one.
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Y not just put the phone on silent? works for me on my omnia.
Guest krelvinaz Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 The shutter sounds are wav files located in the windows directory. I suspect that you could replace them with a silent one or perhaps look for them in the registry and point to something else. Funny, but I seem to recall that my i760 had a no sound setting, but the Omnia does not

HKCU\Software\Samsung\Camera\ShutterSound change the value to -1 switches off the shutter sound. but the focusing beep is still on, which is more annoying than the shutter shound
