Guest moofus Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Hi people, don't think anyone else is having the same problem as me as I haven't found any posts regarding the matter. Anyways my problem is that the camera hold button doesn't open the Camera for me, not all the time. The only way I can solve this problem is to go to button settings and remap the shortcut. However this only temporarily solves the problem (shortcut works again) but later on when I press hold the camera button it gives me... "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename. I've checked it with sktools and the mapping is correct... I really don't know whats wrong. Help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Maybe a program thats installed on your phone is messing up the button everytime it starts. You can post a list of software you have on your phone, or simply hard reset the device. I'm sure that'd fix it.

Thing is I've had this problem since I first got the phone so I can rule out software conflict. Anyways I've tried a hard reset before.. problem still exists.
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 That sounds really fishy to me....it doesn't make sense for the OS to lose track of the camera short cut just like that....what ROM version are you on though?
