Data connection issue?

Hello everyone,

I just got the phone, and aside from a few (glaring) problems, I like the phone. But is anyone else having the same problem that I am? It seems as though no one elsehas mentioned my problem, so I figure I will start a thread up:

Does your internet connection just randomly... die? Even if you're actively using it? I can be on AIM, or surfing the web, and the 3G logo will just mysteriously vanish, and I'll have to reconnect again. It is highly frustrating, especially when trying to have a conversation with my friend. I am on AT&T here in NY, and this is the first time this has ever happened to me.

What do the others think? Any of you have this problem? Any mysterious remedies working out? I'm all ears. Someone please help!
