M2DC Question

I installed M2DC on my Omnia 910 in the My Storage portion of memory. The themes look great initially, but after I move to the different pages, the screen has a tough time painting the entire page. For example, the weather tab shows the current conditions, but the upcoming days forecasts at the bottom of the screen are virtually all cut off.

Is this a result of installing the M2DC in the the My Storage section of the phone? Should I install M2DC in the device memory and store the themes elsewhere? I want to keep my device memory free, and after installing TF2D, M2DC and S2U2 I was out of memory.

Not an issue with M2Dc being on the 'my storage' area but probably down to each theme having its own HTCHomeSettings.xml file which could be mis-configured for the omnia.

DJRedLine,

You do not have this issue ever? I cannot imagine that all the Themes I have tried are configured wrong. I did a fresh install of TF2D last night, but did not update the files in the Windows directory because I thought M2DC would update all that information. Was that a wrong assumption?

Everyone that uses any theme that isn't bult for Omnia experiences this issue. Go to rom section and search for a topic there (i don't remember the name exactly) and you'll find themes that are ported to Omnia's resolution.

bpivk,

Thanks for the reply. I am using two themes specifically designed for the Omnia. One is from Mobile Matt and the other is MBavarian's most recent adaptation of the TF3D theme. Since these are all basic themes, I would expect they would not have this issue.

AFAIK Mobile Matt themes are not for Omnia. The post I mentioned holds themes that are from Mobile Matt's webpage but with different xml file for Omnia.
