T-Mobile UK - Anybody successfully updated shipping ROM?

Has anyone been able to do a successful ROM update from the one that ships with T-Mobile UK (XXHH7 / BOHH5)??

Battery life on this is awful, from fully charged to flat in under 24 hours with little or no use!

I have no additional apps installed either other than what it shipped with, I know it's not going to get better either as i've had the phone for 2 months now. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I updated from shipping ROM on a T-Mo Omnia to DXHK3. You should be able to go to any ROM fine.

Can i ask if its the same procedure as the non branded omnia? Or a special?

I have got the same samsung omnia as you (BOHH5)

Have you added a new ROM yet? I tried to add one via the samsung website but it keeps saying it is the incorrect details. Any help be great.

marvolus, no, not yet. I get the same errors from the Samsung website. so it'll have to be one of the generic ones for now I guess.

Okay, I have downloaded all 3 parts for the DXHK3 rom.

What do I do next, run each exe file in turn?

Hi Paul,

Yes, there were 3 RAR files (parts 1, 2 & 3), which un-rared to give 3 exe files.

These I grabbed from Secany's thread.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? :rolleyes: :)

When you unrar the first one it shoud use the other 2 to give you 1 EXE...

how u did it BOHH5 TO DXHK3.

no precofiguration exist in BOHH5 for to set default operator and country in BOHH5.
