Guest Alkali Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I previously had Touch Diamond and sync without any problem with my Laptop thru windows mobile device centre but i just received my new Touch Hd but when i connect it always search for DRIVERS and when it finishes i just cannot connect. It will give me a message that DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY but i cannot see my device when i open the Device Centre. I restart both the computer and the touch Hd without success. What do i do? I checked HTC website but NO drivers to download.
Guest Monolithix Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Try going to settings > connections tab > USB to PC > uncheck "enable faster data syncronisation"
Guest luketoms Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 I seem to be having driver problems too with my Touch HD and Windows Vista PC. My computer always tries to locate and install them but can't find them, even if I ask it to check the internet. It seems to be just the bluetooth drivers as I get the error message: "Windows was unable to install your bluetooth peripheral device". If I explore the services provided by my phone in BLUETOOTH DEVICES on my PC all it lists in the services is "Telephony", not the whole list of the phones bluetooth profiles like internet sharing and PIM. Is anyone else having bluetooth troubles, has anyone got internet sharing working? Also unchecking "Enable faster data synchronisation" has no effect. I am interested in hearing from those that have installed the HTC Hotfixes and have everything working fine.
